Ms. Kolby
Kolby is a California native who grew up in San Jose. She discovered dance as a child and immediately fell in love with the art. Kolby has been dancing for 9 years and danced on a competitive dance team until graduating high school.
Furthering her education by majoring in Dance with a minor in Child Development, she aspires to use this wild and delicate life to create powerful art, dance unforgivingly, and empower others to love the life they live on this planet.
In addition, she has a love for musical theater and works as a choreographer for Starting Arts giving her the opportunity to travel to schools to share her love of this craft with the younger generations.
Kolby has been teaching and choreographing for 5 years including the styles of Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theater, and Mommy & Me classes. She has also had the honor of co-directing a dance program and creating a variety of choreography.
Ms. Kolby’s mission is to create a welcoming, safe, and educational environment for all of my students including adults and children as young as 18 months.
