Ms. Nicole

Nicole started dancing at a small studio at a very young age and since then has dabbled in various types of dance including but not limited to hip hop, contemporary, and ballroom. She has over 15 years of dance experience with over 5 specializing in hip hop specifically. During her time at university, she was an active member of an open-style hip-hop dance team and was one of the primary directors and choreographers of the team, which focused on fostering growth by emphasizing family and freestyle hip-hop values. Nicole's choreography has been featured in sets for local Bay Area competitions and showcases including Prelude NorCal, World of Dance Bay Area, and Mainstay Dance Showcase. Currently, she is part of an adult professional hip-hop team and is teaching classes in Saratoga, Santa Cruz, and Scotts Valley areas.

Nicole is very excited to be joining the DAU team and hopes to inspire dancers of any background to develop their own distinctive dance style through a supportive, creative, and educational environment. Her goal is to ignite a unique passion for dance in all ages and build a network of connections for the next generation of the Bay Area dance community.
